Managing an Infringement

Burwood Council partners with Revenue NSW to manage and administer fines.
Council issues the infringements, and Revenue NSW is responsible for adjudicating and handling all related enquiries.

If you believe a fine has been issued incorrectly or there were circumstances the officer may not have been aware of, you can request a review through Revenue NSW.

Fines Act 1996 Reporting

Under recent amendments to the Fines Act 1996, Council must publish quarterly reports detailing instances and reasons where a penalty notice was not attached to a vehicle.
