Missed Bin, Repairs, Replacements and New Services

All residential houses are entitled to:

  • 1 x 120L general waste bin (red lid) collected weekly
  • 1 x 240L recycling bin (yellow lid) collected fortnightly
  • 1 x 240L garden waste bin (green lid) collected fortnightly

 

All residential units / apartments are entitled to the closest equivalent of:

  • 1 x 120L general waste bin (red lid) collected weekly
  • 1 x 240L recycling bin (yellow lid) collected fortnightly - dependent on the bin room space available at the individual apartment building
  • 240L garden waste bin numbers are issued dependent on garden space at the individual apartment building

If your bin has been stolen you need to report it by:

If any of your bins are damaged let Council know so we can arrange for the bin to be repaired or replaced.

If your bin has not been collected let Council know. 

Report a missed bin online

Once the online form has been filled out, Council will organise a collection. Please keep your bins out, so the bins can be collected.

Why was my bin missed? 

Possible explanations for missed collections:

  • The bin was put out too late
  • The bin is too heavy.
  • The driver did not see the bin because of an obstruction.
