Commercial businesses and operations can create unwanted noise during business hours, and after hours.

Council controls the amount of noise disruption a business can cause to the community by placing conditions within their consent.  These conditions of consent are enforceable under:

When it comes to noise created by anti-social behavior, direct your complaint to the NSW Police on 131 444.

 

There are time restrictions for using noisy equipment at residential premises where they can be heard in the living area of neighbouring properties.
