Burwood Council undertakes mechanical and manual street sweeping every day across the local government area to help keep our streets, gutters and stormwater drains clear of leaves and litter.
How often a street is swept depends on how busy an area is and the build-up of litter and leaves. In busy business districts, street sweeping is carried out daily. Every street is swept at least every three weeks.
