Home Library Service
The Home Library Service can deliver books to residents who are not able to visit the library. This may be due to age, illness or incapacity, either permanent or temporary. Carers can arrange the Home Library Service on behalf of another person. The library is currently also offering the service to members of the community who are self-isolating due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Contact the Home Library Service officer to make an appointment for a home visit. On your first visit, you will be given a referral form. Please have this form signed by a professional person such as a doctor, minister or home care worker.
The Library Officer will call to find out the types of books and material you would like to borrow. They then choose items based on these preferences.
Most of the resources of the library are available for borrowing. The Home Library Service Officer will deliver your items every three weeks, on a regular day. This service is free of charge.
If you would like to learn more about this service, please contact the Home Library Service Officer on (02) 9911-9999 or
