Burwood Council Public Holiday Christmas/New Year Closedown Period

Due to the upcoming public holidays, there will be changes to these council services:

Customer Service & Burwood Library:

• closed from Thursday 25 December 2025 up to and including Sunday 4 January 2026. 

• On Wednesday 24 December 2025, the Library and Community Hub close at 4.45pm (instead of 6pm) to align with the Customer Service Counter.

Enfield Aquatic Centre:

• open as per normal operating hours except for public holidays and Christmas Day where the Centre will operate as follows:

• Public holidays – 8am to 4pm

• Christmas Day – closed

Operations and Community Safety teams remain operational throughout the closure period. Council’s after-hours service will take calls from the community from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026 inclusive.
