The Strathfield Placemaking Project will transform an under-utilised laneway in the heart of Strathfield into a vibrant activated shared pedestrian-zone, improving walkability, pedestrian safety and outdoor dining as well as opportunities for passive recreation.

Project features:

  • A shared pedestrian zone (conversion of Bells Lane)

  • Suspended lighting installations and catenary lighting
  • Raised pedestrian crossing
