Days for Girls – Monthly Sewing Bee

Are you familiar with Days for Girls?

This global initiative partners with community organisations to create and deliver washable sanitary pad kits and provide health education to young women around the world.

Days for Girls Strathfield is seeking volunteers to join their monthly Sewing Bee Day at Burwood Library & Community Hub. Volunteers will come together to help make the kits — a rewarding, hands-on project perfect for those who enjoy sewing and community connection.

• Sewing experience is preferred but not essential
• Work-from-home options available for experienced sewers

When: Wednesdays, once a month

Time: 10am – 12noon
