During Enfield Aquatic Centre programs and facility hire periods availability in the Indoor 25m Pool, Outdoor 50m Pool and Program Pool can be limited.

Please note, during Learn to Swim periods there will be no public use or recreation permitted in the Program Pool to avoid disruption to lessons and class areas.

8 Lane Indoor Heated 25m Pool

Depth: 1.0m 

The Indoor 25m Heated Pool caters for recreational swimming, walking & gentle exercise and lap swimming. 

Facility includes:

  • Lockers
  • Changing rooms
  • Family Changing rooms
  • Accessible pool hoist
  • Deck showers

 25-meter indoor swimming pool with multiple lanes. There are people swimming and sitting on the pool deck. The pool is well-lit by natural light coming from large windows on the far wall and overhead lights. A sign on the side of the pool reads SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY

7 Lane Olympic Outdoor 50m Pool and Toddler Pool - Not Heated

Seasonal - Open October to April

Outdoor Pool Depth: 1m - 5m 

Toddler Pool Depth: 0.4m - 0.8m 

The Olympic Outdoor 50m Pool caters for recreational swimming, walking & gentle exercise and lap swimming.  

A toddler and child friendly sheltered outdoor pool. 

Facility includes:

  • Undercover grandstand area
  • Undercover grass area 
  • Changing rooms
  • Diving blocks (events only)

Outdoor Splash Park - Not Heated 

A fun interactive outdoor splash park suitable for toddlers.

Facility includes:

  • Large outdoor grass area
Outdoor splash park on a sunny day. The splash pad is a blue rubberized surface with several colorful water features, including a looping ring and a large yellow bucket that is tipping water. The area is partially shaded by a large gray shade sail, and there are several large stone blocks on the grassy area surrounding the park.

 

Program Pool - Heated

Depth: 0.9m - 1.2m 

The Program Pool caters for Learn to Swim lessons.

Walking & Gentle exercise is permitted outside Learn to Swim hours.

Facility includes:

  • 2 accessible changing rooms
  • Accessible ramp into pool. Suitable for wheelchair access
  • Deck showers 

Program Pool with two lanes marked by red and blue ropes. The pool has a large, accessible ramp with a stainless steel handrail leading into the water. A sign warns of a depth of "0.9m," and a string of light blue and white triangular flags hangs over the pool. The building has a corrugated metal roof and large glass windows that let in natural light.

  • Disabled street parking located in front of the centre on Portland St.
  • Disabled carpark spots located behind the centre within the carpark. 

Bike Racks

  • Located at the front of the Centre.

Vending Machine

  • Located at Reception.
  • Variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Community Room

The Community Room is located between the Outdoor 50m Pool and Splash Park. The Community Room is suitable for birthday parties, conferences, meetings and training programs. It has a kitchenette, air-conditioning, single fridge, private toilet and bi-fold doors opening to the Splash Park area. The Community Room is disability friendly. 

Room Dimensions: 5.2m x 11.1m

Multi-Purpose Room                 

The Multi-Purpose Room is located within the Indoor 25m Heated Pool facility. The Multi-Purpose Room is suitable for birthday parties, conferences, meetings and training programs. It has a kitchenette, air-conditioning, mini fridge, private toilet/change room and a sliding door opening to the back carpark area. The Multi-Purpose Room is disability friendly. 

Room Dimensions: 6.2m x 6.1m

 A square multi-purpose room with a dark blue carpet and white walls. There is a small kitchenette with a sink, white cabinets, and a mini fridge on the far wall. Large glass sliding doors are on the right side of the room, looking out onto an indoor pool area.

Enfield Aquatic Centre can provide up to 50 chairs and 6 tables for events.

General lost property items are kept for a period of one week. After this time, all reusable clothing and other suitable items will be donated to charity. Valuable items such as phones, wallets and jewellery are stored onsite for one month before being provided to NSW Police or disposed of.

For health and safety purposes, the following items will not be stored on site:

  • Sanitary products
  • Food
  • Drink bottles
  • Hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, soaps and deodorants)
  • Underwear
     

The Aquatic Centre accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings as per the venues conditions of entry.

If you have lost an item within the venue, please email us a description of the lost item with the date and time of your visit. 

If your item is found, you will be contacted within 7 days by a member of our team.
