1000 Books Before School helps babies and young children love reading and get ready for school. Children aged 0–5 can join.
Parents or legal guardians should visit the library to get a card for their child. It's free! We'll need some evidence of your address, like a bill or driver's licence and some evidence that you are the child's parent or guardian, like a Medicare card that has both of your names on it.
Not at all! Repetition is great for learning, and if your child has a favourite book you can read and log it as many times as you like.
