Where lines meet good times✏️

Draw together with us every week! Whether you're a seasoned sketcher, casual doodler, or just curious about drawing, Sketch Social is your Saturday sketch and connect club. Open to all skill levels, introverts, and extroverts alike – it's a relaxed, come-as-you-are space where you can bring a piece you’ve been working on or just have a scribble spree on the spot.

💭What to expect

• 🖍️ Freestyle on our communal sketch table (laid with butchers’ paper – doodle to your heart's content!)
• ✍️ Opportunity to bring your own sketchbook or current project to work on
• 🌈 Explore illustration prompts and exercises
• 🧠 Pick up fun tips and tricks
• 🤝 Meet and collaborate with other artists
• 🎨 Use our drawing materials provided – we've got it all covered so just bring your imagination! (though you're welcome to bring your own materials too, especially if you're working on something specific)

With access to inspiring art books and learning resources from the Burwood Library collection📚

📍We'll be at the Community Hub – enter via the Burwood Library entrance on Unity Place.

Bookings optional but not required – drop in anytime!

👥Who is it for

• Anyone who loves to draw – or wants to start
• Whether you prefer to draw quietly on your own, or engage with fellow creatives
• Whether you're building a portfolio, reigniting a hobby, or simply looking for a relaxing space to let your pen wander 
• Whether you're interested in cartooning, realism, comics, manga, animation, abstract, journaling – any drawing style is welcome! 
• Sketch Society is an inclusive, accessible, and safe space for all creatives to connect and share themselves through art. There's no pressure to be perfect – it's all about experimenting, expressing, and enjoying the drawing process together✨
