Learn the art of making Paper Pop Ups in our workshop during the school holidays! In just one and a half hours, you’ll transform a few sheets of paper into a one-of-a-kind pop-up. If you like origami or papercraft, you’ll love this! Dive into the intriguing world of paper engineering, learning to fold, crease and cut a flat sheet of paper, transforming it into a unique three-dimensional creation.

All tools and materials will be provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and imagination! This is perfect for anyone looking to explore their artistic side. Wanna make a cool card for dad for Father’s Day, Sunday 7th September? This workshop will have you covered! Or come along with dad or the father-figure in your life for some one-on-one creative time!

Parents and carers, here are the skills covered:

  • Master essential paper engineering, fine motor hand-skills of folding, creasing and cutting paper.
  • Explore the unique qualities of different papers: sizing, weight, and grain direction.
  • Learn about paper engineering and paper pop-ups.
  • Gain hands-on experience using tools: bone folders, scissors, glue sticks and metal rulers to make a paper pop-up.
  • Learn to visualise in three dimensions by turning something flat into something 3D!
