Fitness FAQs

How long is each session?

All Fitness Programs are 1 hour sessions.

How old do I have to be to participate?

Participants must be 16 years or over to attend Fitness programs at Enfield Aquatic Centre. 

 

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Enfield Aquatic Centre provides equipment needed for all Fitness Programs. Participants are required to bring their own towel and water to each session. 

 

Can I use my Fitness Passport for Fitness Programs?

No. Fitness Passports at EAC can only be used for Lap Swimming and Leisure Swimming only.

What do I need to know prior to booking?

All participants are required to complete a Pre-Exercise Questionnaire prior to their first session. It is the responsibility of the participant to advise staff of any serious or pre-existing injuries or medical conditions at the time of completing the questionnaire.

The form is available online OR visit the centre to complete the form with a staff representative. 

Pre-Exercise Questionnaire needs to be renewed every 12 months. 

 

What happens if I indicate 'YES' to a Pre-Exercise question?

If you indicate 'Yes' on any of the pre-screening questions, you will be required to obtain a medical clearance prior to sign-up. 

If you have submitted a Pre-Exercise Questionnaire online, a staff representative will be in contact with you. 

 

 

How do I pay for a session?

Casual payments can be purchased on the day of the session with a staff representative at Enfield Aquatic Centre. If it's your first time attending a Fitness Program, we recommend purchasing a casual payment for your first session. 

If you are attending any of the Fitness Programs on a regular basis, we recommend purchasing a 10 Visit Fitness Pass.

Visit Passes are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. 

Fitness Visit Pass holders are welcome to book in advance to avoid missing out. Visit pass bookings can be made by visiting Enfield Aquatic Centre, calling the centre 9078 6169 or email eac@burwood.nsw.gov.au

How early do I need to arrive to a Fitness Session?

We recommend participants to arrive at the centre 10-15 minutes prior to the session commencing to allow adequate time for staff assistance.

Can I book into a session after the session has started?

Bookings are available within the first 10 minutes of the session commencing .

Later bookings will not be accepted. 

 

Can I cancel my booking if I can no longer attend?

Yes, a minimum of 4 hours notice prior to the class is required for all cancellations, or the full session will be charged. 

Fitness Visit Pass session cancellations can be processed with a Customer Service Representative at Enfield Aquatic Centre.

There are no refunds or transfers for casual sessions purchased.
