Our fight against the NSW Government's proposal to re-zone Croydon

In response to the State Government’s announcement, Council swiftly lodged an interim submission to the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 31 January 2024, objecting to the NSW Government's proposal. The submission highlights a number of concerns and recommendations, with the first being the exclusion of Croydon as one of the precincts subject to re-zoning. It also incorporates the results of our petition that opened on 22 December 2023.

We will continue our fight to protect Croydon against the State Government's proposed plans, and will share any updates as they surface. Read on for more information on the action we have already taken against this proposal.
