Who should attend?
Community representatives, peer educators, bilingual workers, youth leaders, seniors’ advocates, and others who:
- Work with CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities
- Support seniors, people with disability, or vulnerable groups
- Want to help others understand online safety in practical ways
What you’ll learn:
- The basics of cyber security in plain language
- Common online threats: scams, phishing, malware
- Simple actions that prevent cyber attacks
- How to use passphrases, set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and keep devices up to date
- Where to access translated resources and ongoing support
