About the artist

Born and raised in Singapore, Wen Pei Low (刘雯佩) is an artist, writer, musician and event producer currently based on stolen Gadigal Land. In their music performance practice, they write and perform primarily in Mandarin and their mother tongue, Hokkien, both as a form of protest and as a way of creating a home away from home. She enjoys writing indie-folk tunes about light and wind. When she isn’t writing music, she is admiring flowers or thinking about new ways to document her life.
