Light A Lantern to Celebrate 150 Years of Burwood
The community lit up Burwood Park at Light A Lantern - the launch of our 150 Year celebrations. People flocked to the newly unveiled Burwood Park Pond to craft and float 150 lanterns on a balmy summer's evening.
The event featured live entertainment showcasing our vibrant local cultural groups and musicians, as well as captivating performances by the Okinawan drum group Eisa Champaroo and the Sydney Chinese Drum Art Troupe.
