Burwood Noodle Tour
Are you interested in warm soupy noodles, or curious about what spices are used in stir-fried noodles? Do you know which ingredients to choose at Malatang? Have you wondered where to start with the amazing noodles Burwood has to offer? This walking tour will have something for everyone!
Noodles are a popular staple across many cultures, and this walking tour will showcase the unique noodle restaurants in Burwood, from Chinese spicy noodle dishes, to milder Japanese ramen, to hearty Uyghur lamb noodles and refreshing Vietnamese Pho. Join us as we explore the stories behind these specialty stores and what is in their most popular signature noodle dishes.
The family-friendly walking tour runs approximately for an hour. Participants will receive a print copy of a custom map, produced in collaboration with artist Chris Yee, with locations of the many noodle shops found in Burwood. The map also lists the locations of even more noodle restaurants which couldn’t fit!
