Home Library Service
The Home Library Service can deliver books to residents who are not able to visit the library. This may be due to age, illness or incapacity, either permanent or temporary. Carers can arrange the Home Library Service on behalf of another person.
How to Join
Contact the Outreach Services Officer to make an appointment for a home visit. On your first visit, you will be given a referral form. Please have this form signed by a professional person such as a doctor, minister or home care worker.
Service Provided
The Outreach Services Officer will call to find out the types of books and material you would like to borrow. They then choose items based on these preferences. Most of the resources of the library are available for borrowing.
The Outreach Services Officer will deliver your items every three weeks, on a regular day. This service is free of charge.
