Creative Kids: French Knitting (ages 9 - 12)

Next date: Saturday, 17 May 2025 | 01:00 PM to 02:30 PM

French knitting in many colours

French knitting (also known as loom knitting) is a fun and easy skill that creates knitted "cords" which you can turn into friendship bands or bracelets. In this workshop we will use cardboard roll looms to learn how to French knit, and you can take your loom home with you and make as many bracelets as you want!

Please note:

  • Bookings are essential
  • Parents must remain with their child through the program - we would love you to work together on the project!
  • Children must be aged 9-12 years old to attend and take part.
  • For safety, any accompanying younger siblings will not be permitted to use the materials provided.
  • To keep our programs running smoothly, attendees arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be able to take part.

These programs are very popular! If you book in and are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket so that someone else can take your spot. Repeated failure to attend will result mean you may not be allowed to book for future events.
