Beamafilm streaming video

Beamafilm is a free streaming service for Burwood Library members. It offers movies, documentaries and television series. There are films on art, fashion, history and science which can support your studies. Visit the Beamafilm website to learn more. 

Databases and online research

Library members can access online databases and research information. These provide reliable information and statistics to help with study and assignments. Visit our catalogue for more details. 

Drug and Alcohol Info

The Library has pamphlets, books and brochures on the effects of drugs and alcohol on health. These may be useful as part of the PDHPE curriculum. You can also access the State Library's Drug Info website for more information. 

Find Legal Answers

Burwood Library has books and pamphlets to provide advice on many common legal issues. These may be helpful for students of Legal Studies. The State Library of NSW's Legal Answers website also provides free, up to date information. 

High School and H.S.C. Collection

The Library offers a range of books to support students in their high school and H.S.C. studies. This includes textbooks, study guides and practice papers. Search the catalogue or visit the library during opening hours and ask our friendly Library team to show you what is available. 

Graphic Novels

The Library has a collection of graphic novels for members to borrow. Search the catalogue to see what is available. 

State Library HSC Resources

The State Library of NSW organises events for H.S.C. students and also has many online resources to support your studies. Visit the State Library website to learn more. 

Youth Fiction

The Library has a collection of Young Adult and Youth Fiction, including many new release books and titles by popular authors. Visit our catalogue to see some of the titles available.
