How many items can I borrow?
You may borrow 10 eBooks or eAudiobooks per month. eMagazines do not count against your monthly limit.
How long can I keep my loans?
Items are borrowed for 14 days. You can renew or reborrow them if there are no holds on the books. There are also sometimes “skip the line” copies that you can access, which are only available for 7 days.
Does borrowing magazines affect my eBook limits?
No. Magazine borrowing is separate.
Can I renew a title?
Yes — renewals are available if no one else is waiting.
Is there a waiting list for popular titles?
Some titles may have holds — place a reservation and you’ll be notified when it’s ready.
Does it cost anything to use?
No — it’s free with your Burwood Library membership.
The book I wanted isn’t on Libby, can you help?
Libby allows you to click “notify me” for titles that the library has not yet purchased. Click notify me to suggest a purchase for the library. You can also check the library catalogue to see if the book is available on our other apps.
Help! I can’t log in!
