Public Notice of Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement – Nos. 1-3 Marmaduke Street and 7 Deane Street, Burwood

 

A draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) and accompanying Explanatory Note (EN) has been prepared. The draft VPA provides for the developer/proprietor to pay a monetary contribution to Council for the purposes of providing, augmenting or improving open space, community facilities or other public facilities as determined by Council, in exchange for additional development on the site. 

The draft VPA is proposed under an approved Development Application, BD.2015.098, and an associated modification. The development consent involves construction of a 25 storey mixed commercial and residential development above basement parking. 

A similar draft VPA was notified in late 2015 and endorsed by Council. This draft VPA has been revised on account of a change in developer/proprietor and development approvals for the site.


The draft VPA and EN will be available for public inspection from 9 July to 6 August 2019 at Council’s Administration Centre, Suite 1, Level 2, 1-17 Elsie Street, Burwood, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.45pm, and on Council’s website, www.burwood.nsw.gov.au.
