Weekly waste collection

As the situation of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) develops, Council remains business as usual. Council is still providing the weekly waste collection services. Increased kerbside clean-ups will also be available. 

Council provides weekly waste collection for general waste and fortnightly for recycling and garden vegetation.

Council waste calendars are now waste-free. You can find out when your bin night is and which bin to leave out by viewing the 2020 Collection Calendar.

Household clean up

Council offers one free household clean up collection for residents each year and one free scheduled clean up. To book your own household clean up, please complete the application form available below.

You can find out when the next scheduled clean up will be planned in your area by viewing the 2020 Scheduled Clean Up Map. You will receive notice in your household letterbox two weeks before the scheduled clean up takes place.

Additionally clean ups are available at a cost and are determined based on the size of the collection.

Green waste clean up

Council offers one free green waste clean up for residents each year for garden waste.

Additionally clean ups are available at a cost and are determined based on the size of the collection.

Green waste drop off days

Council has introduced an additional service to residents. Two green waste drop off days will occur during 2020:

- Saturday 9 May

- Saturday 31 October

  at the Council Depot, Kingsbury Street, Croydon Park between 8am - 12noon

Electronic waste (e-waste), Mattress and Whitegoods drop off days

Council offers regular e-waste, mattress and whitegoods drop off days to all residents at the Council Depot, Kingsbury Street, Croydon Park.

E-waste includes electronic items such as televisions, computers and accessories and small electrical appliances.

Mattresses are limited to 2 per household. Residents will be required to show proof of address.
