Exciting transformation for Burwood Library and Community Hub

Burwood Library and Community Hub will be closed temporarily from 1 December for an exciting transformation project that will provide an upgraded library, new community spaces and more when the venue reopens in mid-2020.

Creative spaces, indoor and balcony gardens, a dedicated youth zone and more spaces for children are some additions for what will be a bigger and better-equipped library experience.

The new community spaces will give more opportunity for people such as artists and local groups to have events and other activities.

A digital interactive gallery and music recording studios will be among the new technology services.

For more details, see our media release.
