Domestic Violence Campaign

Violence against women has a serious and long-term impact on women’s health and wellbeing. Next week Council is launching a Domestic Violence Campaign to encourage people to take action if they are aware of violence in their community. At this time more than ever with the increasing pressures in homes as a result of the pandemic, families and community members play an important role in supporting victims and encouraging those committing abuse or violence to seek help.

If you are worried about someone in our community that is a victim to domestic violence, Call NSW Domestic Violence Line on  1800 656 463. The line is 24/7, free and provides confidential support.
