Click and Collect

click and collect library service

How Click and Collect works:

  • Reserve up to 10 items online via the Catalogue or Burwood Library App. You can also contact library staff during service hours on (02) 9911 9999 or by email.
  • Members will receive a text message or email when items are available for collection. Your items will be issued to your account and held for five days. Any items not collected after 5 days will be returned.
  • Pick up your items at Burwood library during the Click and Collect hours:
    Monday-Friday 10.00am to 4.00pm and Saturday-Sunday from 12.00pm-4.00pm.
  • When you arrive at the library, knock on the door at the main entrance. Staff will advise how to collect your items. Ensure you have your ID ready.
  • For the safety of borrowers and staff, you will need to check in using the QR code, maintain at least 1.5 metres of social distance and wear a mask.
  • If returning items, please place them on the trolley provided during the hours shown above.
  • This is a contactless service which will be conducted in a COVID-safe manner.
  • Picture books and readers cannot be reserved online, but please call or email our library staff to discuss your needs, and we can choose a selection of books for you to collect.

In addition to Click and Collect, our Home Library Service is continuing to operate during the closure period for existing customers and residents who are unable to access our Click and Collect service due to age, illness or incapacity, either temporarily or permanently. If you are self-isolating we're also able to provide this service to you. Please email library staff to learn more.
