Library and Community Hub

Situated near the heart of Burwood and within walking distance from Burwood Station, shopping centres and restaurants, the Library and Community Hub is the ideal place to host an event. The new $7 million facility, on the corner of Railway Parade and Conder Street, is a vibrant setting with an auditorium equipped with the latest in audio-visual technology and spacious meeting rooms.

The 200 seat auditorium is designed to provide enhanced acoustics and is equipped with the latest in audio-visual equipment, large monitors and high definition projector. For smaller events, the auditorium can be subdivided with soundproof walls.

Fitzroy Centre at Woodstock


From dance performances and Zumba classes to business expos and conferences, the  Fitzroy Centre at Woodstock is a hive of activity. The leafy setting at Woodstock is also an ideal location for a big family event with the centre opening up to an outdoor barbecue area and playground.

George Street Community Centre

The brand new George Street Community Centre is a community space located within the Burwood town centre  on the corner of George Street and Elsie Street. The new centre is close  Burwood Station and serves as a fantastic  meeting space for businesses and community groups.

The Burwood Park Pavilion is perfect for large events, concerts and performances, overlooking a sports field which can also be hired.

The tennis courts in Burwood Park are available for hire from 8am - 8pm, 7 days per week.

Fees: $13.50 per hour

1. Read the policy and terms and conditions. Please ensure that you understand these documents prior to making an application. Contact Customer Service with any further questions regarding use of Centres on 9911 9911.

2. Complete the application form, in full. A separate form must be completed for each facility and returned to:
