Public Notice of Draft Voluntary Planning Agreements (VPAs) - No. 6 Railway Parade Burwood and No. 1 Lyons Street Burwood

Draft VPA – 6 Railway Parade, Burwood

The draft VPA provides for the developer to pay a monetary contribution to Council in exchange for a shortfall of 7.4 visitor car parking spaces. The draft VPA is proposed in conjunction with a modification application to modify Development Consent No. 52/2016. The application involves the removal of one level of basement car parking.

Draft VPA – 1 Lyons Street, Strathfield

The draft VPA provides for the developer to pay a monetary contribution to Council in exchange for one on-site parking space. The draft VPA is proposed in conjunction with a modification application to modify Development Consent No. 101/2015. The application involves the addition of one level containing 4 boarding rooms and associated changes.

The two draft VPAs and Explanatory Notes will be available for public inspection from 8 August 2017 to 5 September 2017 at Council’s Administration Centre, Suite 1, Level 2, 1-17 Elsie Street, Burwood, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.45 pm, and on Council’s website, www.burwood.nsw.gov.au.

Public Notice of Draft VPA – No. 11–13 Burwood Road, Burwood

A draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) and accompanying Explanatory Note have been prepared. The VPA provides for the developer of No.11-13 Burwood Road Burwood to pay Council a monetary contribution in exchange of additional development on the site. The VPA is proposed under a modification application to amend the Development Consent No. 98/2014 for an additional apartment on level 9 and a new additional level 10 consisting of 3 apartments.
