There are many great locations to film in Burwood and Council actively supports filming in the area and will cooperate with film makers and promote opportunities that exist in Burwood.

To ensure that there is a balance between the interests of the film maker, local community and the need to share public space, film makers are required to apply for a film permit.

Firework Events - Department of Local Government Guidelines

Guidelines have been developed by the 'Department of Local Government' to provide councils with a standard framework when deciding whether to object to WorkCover in regard to a firework display of which council has received notification.
