Section 94 Contributions

Section 94 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act enables local government to collect levies on new development for the provision of public services and amenities likely to be required by the new development.

Council has prepared Contribution Plans for Road Traffic Facilities, and Open Space, Community Facilities and Public Car Parking. The plans may be downloaded by selecting the relevant link below.

A Section 94A Contribution Plan has been prepared for new development within the Burwood Town Centre. Click here to be directed to the Burwood Town Centre page.

Council is currently exhibiting a draft Contributions Plan under Section 94A of the Act which is intended to replace the existing Section 94 Contribution Plans. Click here for more detail on the draft Contributions Plan.
